HPC Linux System Administrator


The Texas Southern University High Performance Computing Center, TSU-HPCC, is looking for a dynamic individual to provide support for HPC system administration. The candidate will work with world class researchers in Chemistry and Physics. As a member of the TSU-HPCC, this person would be expected manage the HPC systems, develope and configure new system, as well as provide advanced training for HPCC users.


  • Master's degree in computing, natural sciences or engineering or working equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot specialized combinations of hardware and software used in HPC
  • Experience with grid computing tools and methods like OSG, Condor, SGE, resource discovery, meta-schedulers and security protocols
  • Ability to test, evaluate, and install HPC software
